I have spent years playing at the highest levels of Tetris and distilling that knowledge into accessible, comprehensive guides for players at every level — from complete beginners to advanced competitors.

Now, people sometimes ask me why I play at a grandmaster level yet, ironically, consider myself a ‘casual’ player. I will tell you why: because it takes minutes to learn to play Tetris, years to master Tetris, and a lifetime to play it like a child. Just as in real life, when you truly become proficient in something, you pursue it for its own sake, and not for any external rewards. I play Tetris for its own sake, and do not care about titles. To master Tetris is to return to that child-like immersion in the Tao, playing casually for fun.
