I am Aquila Goh, a Singapore-based writer and high-level Tetris player who writes under this pen name. I am known primarily as Galactoid in the Tetris world.

I hold an MA from Nanyang Technological University, specializing in existential sociology and existential philosophy. I have authored nineteen books, including seven Tetris guidebooks and a series of philosophical literary novels. A twentieth one is upcoming!

My literary work centers on The Eternal Reflection — a philosophical and spiritual epic fantasy series set in the magical world of Leea’doch, weaving Eastern philosophy, spiritual wisdom, and the mythical language of Ei’lara into an epic narrative about consciousness, free will, and the eternal intertwining of consciousness and action.

My flagship upcoming Tetris novel, title to be announced, is a philosophical dystopian literary fiction set in 2030 New York, following a Singaporean immigrant who discovers that Tetris encodes the cosmos’ oldest truths and can solve many personal, sociological, and geopolitical problems.

I believe that games, like literature, are external reflections of the soul — and that the most profound wisdom often arrives in the most unexpected forms and mediums. In my case, it was Tetris — I never realized that my initial obsession with a simple 2D spatial puzzle game could be a mirror and metaphor to many profound philosophical truths.

I have a strict no-AI-use policy for my primary works — The Eternal Reflection and the How-to-Tetris books — and for all my future creative works. Honestly, I have gotten sick and tired of the countless AI slop writers who make six figures by leeching off actual human writers. There were a few AI-generated Amazon books that copied content from my two Tetris guide websites, but thankfully, they have been removed.
